We did indeed have a perfect holiday in your wonderful house. How well equipped and organized! The children enjoyed the swimming pool in the mornings and evenings and we went to the Tavira Sailing Club for the regatta during the day. We then crossed over to the Island to be able to follow the competition. We also spent a day in Sevilla as we did two years ago, such a beautiful city.
Again, many thanks for your house and having booked the car for us! It was perfect! Arnout and Sofie, Belgium
This is our second stay and it’s even better this time! Great food, lovely neighbours, lively town - we want to live here. In Tavira lots of good places to eat, too many to mention. Out of town - Colibri restaurant at Moncarapacho (card in the book), &rquot;steak on the stone&rquot; is fabulous! Hope y’all enjoy your stay as much as we have.
A big "thank you" to Tanya and Norman for the birthday pressie for Mick, what a thoughtful, sweet touch. xxxxxx

Thank you so much for making us so welcome and for sorting out the car
hire. This is our third holiday in your gorgeous house in Tavira. We feel
so relaxed as soon as we arrive, it is a real home from home having
everything you could possibly need, including bikes and beach towels!
Having the broadband internet was a fantastic extra this year whilst my
daughter awaited news on her University place. Casa Na Colina is in an
ideal position for exploring on foot, bike or by car, with many
interesting places to visit. We love the beach at Barril and Vela 2, our
favourite restaurant where you can eat as much fish as you possibly can
for a set price.
Many thanks to Gill and Ian for organising such a great welcome pack once
again and for being so helpful.
Looking forward to a return visit next year!
Best Wishes Janet and Tim, Leeds
We came to Portugal for a wedding and so have spent a lot of time with family and friends. The house was perfect for our needs. We have no criticisms at all, never mind constructive ones! Thank you for the loan of your lovely house, for all the little things that made a huge difference (e.g. the picnic box, the barbecue, the beach towels). We will be back!! Not as hot as the last time we visited so we were able to do lots more exploring. Aided by the Cicerone book of walks in the Algarve we trekked through the Mata Nacional de Conçeição on one day, where we spotted bee-eaters and azure winged magpies. We also enjoyed two walks in the Serra de Caldeirão mountain range. There are many walks signposted that centre around Cuixas Baixas, Feiteira, and Mealha, so you are unlikely to lose your way. We recommend a visit to Cachopo where the local restaurant serves hearty meals. There is also a very pleasant coastal walk that starts at Benagil going eastwards. The scenery is spectacular - very ’Algarve’! Our friends Jane and Jon are great at identifying the different species of birds and we have left a list of our 60 birds thast we spotted (see black folder). Being spring, everywhere we walked was abundant with wild flowers. Definitely a good time of year to visit. Cindy and Adrian, Bath
